Sunderland are really backing their manager in the transfer market, which, provided they don't get themselves into debt, is fantastic.
Roy Keane is now signing proven players. It is a classic process. In the first year in the Premier League a club is looking to remain in the division but often they cannot afford to sign proven players unless they spend huge money. If they do manage to survive then they look to build on the base they have constructed and are often able to bring in better footballers with more experience.
Tottenham are a good footballing team who did not show a lot at Middlesbrough last week. Spurs are in the process of rebuilding their team but I think they will win in front of their own fans.

Lawro gets it right again, I wish our fans would realise this. I can't imagine the backlash if we lose this match. I bet Djibril bloody Cisse is gonna score!

I don't know why but I get the feeling Steed and Chimbonda are going to play out of their skin. Though we will still win but it will probably be a close game.

Hope he's right but I'm bricking it, given all of our ex-players, Cisse and Healy and the fact that we'll almost inevitably capitulate at Chelscum
