Does anyone have an update on where we'd be sitting now if the season started when HR took over? Surely 5th or 6th?

Perhaps more interesting would be where we'd be sitting if the season started following the Jan transfer window (including GF, GA, goal difference evaluation).

Surely that's a better measurement of Harry's worth as a manager, as prior to that he was playing purely with a team he inherited, rather than one he could put his personal stamp on in some form or another.

I think that people need to realise that 7th next year would be a very good season for us considering recent form. As I keep saying, with only a couple of tweaks here and there Redknapp has the ability to get us into the realms of Everton, Villa if given time. MON and Moyes have both been at their clubs for quite a few seasons and have shown what they can do if they keep their squads together with the odd improvement. To think we need to be aiming for 4th place at the moment is ludicrous and anyone that thinks it'll come soon is certifiable. We need to build and progress slowly and I think Harry is the man for the job.

Oneill did not let Barry go either.

Yes I agree that BAE has improved greatly and is looking a very uselful player (certainly better then Bale) but I can't agree with your statement regarding other players in the league.

I would happily swap him for Cliche, Evra, probably Lescott (because he can play centre and is good in the air), Ashely Cole (even though I can't stand him) and that is just off the top of my head.

"Worst kind of person" - You haven't got a clue......especially when everyone can see how you behave on the net. You've been chasing nearly every post i've made lately and when you realize you're wrong you suddenly disappear. I'm the bully? I'm not the one calling others small minded and sad when all they did was say that you and someone else, who is fairer towards Rednapp, would avoid this thread. And I am not the one telling others to mind their own business or keep quiet.

If you had used this thread to put forward an argument saying 'yes well the stats do show that we have improved under Rednapp but...' or even heaven forbid saying 'I was wrong about Rednapp he has done a good job thus far'. But no you just come on here and insult people becauase you have got yourself into a pickle by being so absurdly abusive and critical towards Rednapp and then pretending you are being fair and others overly defensive and pro-Rednapp.

Even Rednapp's biggest defenders, Kendall and myself, have not used the extreme language you have to describe him. He has done a very good job since he got here. He has made mistakes but has turned around an awful team into, as yesterday showed, a good, more balanced and more threatening one.

But you cannot accept that can you? Until you do, you will cease being a Spurs fan.
