He needed to move to Europe at least 18 months ago, if not before, in order to progress his career, he didn't and as such he is below the level now of most PL strikers.

Yep, he wasted 2 very valuable years of development because he didn't challenge himself and move to Europe. Playing catch up now, time will tell...

He must have been scouted and recommended a number of times over the years so if we were in for him again then obviously someone really spots 'something special' in him. I'm not against trying again and now at Santos maybe he would be easier to get and cheaper after not so great form. An option, but would prefer others

it seems poch is coming...

remember last year Poch admitted he would want to bring Damiao to the Saints, it is highly possible the saga is not going to be over yet.

Well I haven't seen anything of him since he left Internacional but he did show some excellent qualities in his early time there. It was interesting too that his drop in form coincided with Oscar leaving

At the right price I dare say there could be a decent gamble there as a striker option

Offer a quarter of what we did last time with a 25% sell on. I wouldn't pay more.... and there shouldn't be any commission payable to his agent either!

Yes I certainly wouldn't dismiss the idea at the right price, although it really depends on what other options we have. He is tall shows some decent on the ball skills. is tall and very good aerially. There's a player there, it's just a question of how much of that player we might be able to bring back out on a consistent basis and how well he might adjust to the PL

I miss Damiao rumours

Okay...just for you...

Sky Sports Exclusive:

Sky Sources tell us that Leandro Damiao is rumoured to be having a torrid love affair with Absolute Bobbins. We have quotes stating that Damiao, whilst having disappeared into obscurity in the footballing world, is now happily rooting Absolute Bobbins on a daily basis. "He may not score on the pitch any more", says our source, "but he is scoring left right and centre in the bedroom...all over Absolute Bobbins' face."

On Football Manager, I never seriously try to buy him, I continuously declare interest and offer dismal amounts of money just to fuel speculation because in this case... the chase is soooo much better than the kill ;)
