I think he does limited training with us aswell. He only joins in with certain aspects.

Press photo opportunity - "'mon lads, get up, run about for ten minutes, kick a few balls then we can all hit the gym once they've taken their fill of snaps" sort of situation i don't doubt. The real training will be done behind closed doors.

his knees are improving... sorry what i mean is the damage to his knee is the same but his body's recovery and mamanegment of it has improved and his routine to rest and prepare has gotten more fine tuned the longer he's had it.

If he gets through this world cup i can see him playing much more for us next season. PFA nomination :)

seemed to be training again today...

i don't see the point in taking him if they are intending to break him?

A bit off topic but read that Big Tom were excellent during training yesterday! cant find the link now. Unfortunately for Tom, Scott Parker were excellent too..

Its not training, its more like fitness maintenance.

When he doesn't "train" it leaves him open to groin strains and such like what happened with us.

his "fitness maintenance" is in the Swimming pool & gym.

not running around a pitch two days on the trot.

Groin strain if I remember correctly....

Well, if he can cope with it, good on him, hope he can do the same for his wages next season

Love him to bits, they better not damage him!
