Tottenham Hotspur legend Ledley King has heaped praise on Eric Dier following his fantastic start to the new season. The 28-year-old Englishman, who joined Spurs for just £4 million in 2014 (BBC), has received a ton of criticism over the last few years. However, he has been incredible recently and is now in contention to return to the England squad as well.

It's Dier's natural position. He was shoe-horned into DM when we failed to replace Wanyama. He's also a whole lot better in the middle of a back 3 than he was on one side of CB in a back 4. No idea why Mourinho and Nuno couldn't work that one out since Sanchez suffers in the same way.

Are there any Dier related songs, aside from the “I love Eric Dier” one?

Suppose it depends on whether Ten Hag gives Maguire a chance and then what he makes of it. Southgate has continually overlooked Dier even when it was an obvious choice to bring him in.

Club legend who deserves far more respect than he gets. Would love to see him lift a trophy with Harry
