New Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has tasked 21-year-old Harvey White with an unfamiliar role at left-back in pre-season training.

In today’s training, Spurs coaches Matt Wells and Mile Jedinak (previously of Crystal Palace) were looking at a back four of Djed Spence, Eric Dier, Joe Rodon and of course Harvey White.

Don't mind this idea. If we are going to play with these inverted fullbacks, we may as well have a look at someone with Harvey's skillset.

Worked out well for Sergi Roberto, Zinchenko and few others, hopefully for him too.

I didn't realize he was 21, I thought he was still in his teens. He should have been given a few games in the past couple of seasons to help bring out his undoubted talent. There's no point waiting until he's well into his 20's if he's as good as some think then he should be playing now it could save us a fortune. Other clubs push their young players into the team but under Conte and Mourinho it never happened. Poch was the last one to give them a chance.

I remember in summer 2020 mourinho going on about how good cirkin was (coincidentally, also at left back). But I don't think he played a single minute for us ever again

Given how crap the we were playing back then he can probably count himself as very lucky.

Summer and Autumn 2020 we looked awesome, scoring for fun, top of the league for a bit. Then the 3-3 against west ham seemed to send mourinho over the edge and we became boring and defensive

But yeah cirkin didn't get a sniff of game time in either the good patch or the bad
