Ledley to lead the GB olympic team ?

Its not blind loyalty i promise but was thinking about the Olympic team and the experienced players who could be selected. What a choice Ledley would be, not only an inspirational leader but also a top drawer player who gets the best out of those around him. Realistically he's not going to be selected for Euro 2012 so perhaps he'll be in with a shout. So what do you think ?

I think it could be Rooney as the third over-age player, not sure Sir Red-Nose is going to be very happy about it though and you could guarantee he would find some way of pulling him out of the squad.

As for Ledley, I agree no chance at all of him being a part of it.

Euro 2012 runs from the 8th of June to the 1st of July

Mens Olympic 2012 football starts on the 26th July to the 11th of August

so cant see anyone involved in the Euro's going
