Come on lads this is all being blown out of proportion.
I mean, who here can honestly say after a few too many beers they’ve never harmed, silenced and ultimately destroyed the family of a country’s former intelligence chief?

Athletic Podcast discussed Newcastle FFP and ttey would need to sell 1-2 players. They mentioned Isak and Bruno

Isak please, perfect for Ange, imagine how rapid out front 3 would be. I would still keep Richarlison too. Our depth would be probably the best in the PL. we don’t need Bruno unless it was an exceptional deal.

They'd be wanting an awful lot of money for him considering how much they paid and rightly so. We are in a very good place regarding ffp and I'm sure we'll be looking to keep it that way. Can't see us parting with that sort of money on one player tbh.

I think it’s one of those signings Levy won’t make but would take us to a different level. Don’t blame Levy for not sanctioning it but it’s a game changing signing IMO. Still only 24 too. We are just missing an out and out striker atm.

Isak and Gordon, but I can't see Newcastle selling at the kind of prices we'd be buying at. Though, if we qualify for the CL, our squad is quite deep, so instead of buying several players per window, we could be in a position where we just buy 1 quality player with the CL budget.

The trouble with Isak is that he was signed on a 6 year deal, so even if we offered them £80 million for him, that's only roughly £40 million profit towards FFP, which for a player as important as him, isn't that much. Guimaraes is FFP amortised value is only £20 million, so if they get a similar offer for him, which is likely given how good he is, then they'll get £60 million towards FFP. But we don't need Guimaraes in the way we need a top class striker.

From the Podcast I listened to they made it sound like Newcastle FFP woes were severe

Maybe there will be an opportunity

Would be a bargin IMO, but it’s not really the deals we tent to do.
We've done 50 for Richarlison and 47 for Brennan we are slowly getting there I don't think it's entirely out of reach. I can't see us doing 80m though

Teams are obviously panicking now about FFP and rightly so. Fair play to Levy for keeping us tight.

How clear are we from ffp? I mean ENIC has never invested in us apart from the initial buy out have they?
I think we are in the top 5 +2.2M, Newcatle -19.3M Arsenal -115M

This is all I can find replaicated across numerous sites.

OBV we have the Kane sale, but we have also spent money, and have no C League. I guess what Newcastles problem is that they have spent a lot, and are still pretty short in terms of depth of quality players which we've seen in the league this year. Plus more than likely no Cleague next year. and revenues are half of ours

Almiron looking like he’s going to Saudi, what a surprise that when they need to shift players Saudi comes knocking….

Yep - always gonna happen - which of the 4 Saudi clubs that is owned by the same guy will he go to?

At least we won't have to see his annoying, 'i'd love to punch' face again I suppose (if he does go)

Hard to dislike Almiron. Works his bollocks off for his team, doesn't dive, not dirty or snidey, always smiling...

It's like adding another manager to your football manager save, dropping £80mill bids on all your fringe players. Nothing dodgy here.
