well im with the OP. lets get Mourinho in. He can pump up balls. put the flags out and maybe make the odd tea.

Chelsea have a great academy but because of the club Ethos and Mourinhos methods/priorities nobody home grown has broken through really.

That is the complete opposite stance to what Levy, with his huge academy investment, and Pochs strategy suggests is the route Tottenham have decided to take. One I am very happy with.

Would seriously consider giving up my season ticket if Jose was ever appointed manager.

Football is a fickle old game really. Go back a year, 18 months, and we'd have been clamouring for Jose. He's clearly a top manager, he's just not the right manager for us. He doesn't keep with the tradition of the football we endeavour to play and seems to lose the plot when the pressure is on. Poch is building something that I want to see the fruits of.

Capello had Jose down. He is good for 2 seasons, and then his favoured 13 players burn out, the results start to turn, and he jumps ship.

Jose is the perfect manager for the biggest team in the league, but he couldn't build a sandcastle.
