Someone said I have a small cock today because, Modric played bad.

Not because I personally wound them up with insults.

As you so frequently dismiss anyone who disagrees with your extreme-minority views in such an arrogant and patronising manner, as though everyone else are idiots, and you're the sole gifted individual with any true insight, then you're going to foster a certain hostility.

And you have a small cock.

Sticking with an opinion is not dismissal. I discuss the points.

I am obsessive, not patronizing.

THFC will be dead to me and most of my mates if we move to Stratford, and most of us are platinum season ticket holders who travel everywhere to follow Tottenham

Fuck off Levy! You dont know what Spurs means to us

Would I be right in saying that you and most of your mates were also dead set against Gallas joining?

That was the opinion of the 'die hards' I know and they are dead set against us moving to Stratford too.

I respect the people who go home and away season in season out but, in my experience, they are the least rational and sensible of the Spurs fans that I know.

If we have to move it will be a decision made with the head not the heart.

Serious question... why?

We have been taken the piss out of arsenal for as long as we can remember for being South London nomads who dont belong in North London.

For years we´ve been singing "fuck off back to South London" and "North London is ours, fuck off back to Woolwich, North London is ours".

If we all of a sudden think its ok to move to East London we are hypocrites with no respect for the history and tradition of the great THFC

You are right. I hate to see Gallas in a Spurs shirt and I think Harry takes the piss and humiliate us Yids when he puts him as captain today.

How can a decision like this not be made with the heart? From a financial point of view it would make sense to sell your daughter to a pimp, but you wouldnt consider that, would you? Not everything is about money.

THFC is far too important to fuck with

No one cares? Try telling that to the people swarming my threads. My threads get 8,000 views.

The only disharmony is caused by THE THINGS I CLAIM HAPPENING.

I would be a laughing stock if Hughton helped Jol win the Prem, there was no drunk/clubbing ban/Modric came and played like VDV from day one and the stadium and training ground went up without a hitch and we made a profit this year.

THEN I would be a laughing stock. I imagine it is frustrating, but lighten up people. All you got to do is type the magic worlds.

And this is my second coming. If you count the days Jesus was away, it was the same amount of time I was on a Sabbatical.

Before you answer this post, just stop and think, what would ole Gibbsy do?

But we didn't get to nail you on the cross? :-(

I can see the logic behind it but I accept that some people feel the essence of Tottenham Hotspur would be lost if we move to Stratford.

If I was you I'd enjoy the result today and worry about Stratford another day, how often do we win away from home against Arsenal ffs!?!

The question that I've been asking myself is whether it will be the same club if we move. It's not an easy question to answer. Yes, the club might have the same name, it would have some of the same people in charge and perhaps some of the same players. But football clubs have historically been defined by where they are. Football is tribal, and normally those tribes have been based on location. It's why I've said that in other threads 'the club is the area, the area is the club'. Obviously things change - football is a global sport, Tottenham is a global brand. But for me if Tottenham the club choose to move any more than a mile from Tottenham the place then it ceases to be the same club. Maybe it's because I live up the road but I'm kind of with the fans that say they'd stop following the club. For me, the club that I love simply wouldn't exist any more.

I will be driving to WHL on Wednesday, I like a few pints and would like to get the train but as the last train to Deal leaves Charing Cross at 10 I have no chance of getting it.
Stratford will be served by all modes of public transport and when the Spammers get relagated I cant see the Olympic Stadium being used for Spammer v Plymouth games so it will put us in an even better negotiating position.
I wonder what % of people from Tottenham actually go to the games?

I respect your opinion as a fellow spurs fan, i care just as much as anyone about our history and tradition, the fact is that will never leave us. If moving to Stratford secures our long term future I'm 100% behind it, our history is secure and behind us, our future is the journey we have yet to take.

I for one don't give a flying f*ck what arsenal fans think, they are a nomad club because of their countless changes of name and grounds. We may well say "f*ck off back to Woolwich" but that is wrong as well. Arsenal never played a game in Woolwich they come from plumstead but still suffer from an identity crisis, even the cannon on their shirts is a con. The cannon suggests they were founded by some heroic military men, thats 'effing wrong as well, founded by some blokes working in a wharehouse is nearer the truth.
We can always take the piss out of those tools.

Moving to Stratford with the prospect of a top class 80,000 capacity stadium will push Tottenham into a different stratosphere altogether. With the prospect of a future even more glorious than the past.

It would be rebuilt to just under 60, but the point remains.

You do realise who you're talking to, don't you gibbs?

I know it must be difficult looking from the US 'n' all, but Matty P (who is a financial professional) knows what he's on about, yet you still push your "we're going broke" nonsense. Why don't you just listen?

You do realise ghibberish131 is totally insane?
