Antonio Conte has been banging this drum for quite some time now, stating that he needs to meet with the club this summer in order to decide on his future as links to PSG continue to persist.

However, in the wake of Spurs receiving a £150m capital injection this week, Levy is convinced that Conte is now happy with the club’s plans, so much so that he’s no longer planning on even meeting with the manager in the coming days.

Levy sending selfies with his war chest in the background. Antonio is hot and bothered. Hell, so am I.

Not sure I believe that. Or is this just the media trying to turn something positive into 'friction at the club'.

They've knicked it from Ally Gold's latest video (or the same club source)
No friction~ just no need for DL to be present in this target meeting

Hmmm, why wouldn't anyone want to be seen in Conte company at the moment, especially if you have a big cheque to give him?
Levy certainly needs some good publicity after controversial sackings/appointments and the super league disaster.
The event that has nobbled Levy more than those is the one he was not responsible for - covid - the timing of which could not have been worse.

I think Levy has lost a lot of agency, as the club has had to dig deeper into Uncle Joe's pockets, and this latest handout undermines him further. So for me, I feel Levy is near totally sidelined these days. He will have to bide his time until conte walks out the club, which hopefully is a few years away. But anything can happen at this club.

Tbf he may well have been involved in all of the decisions including the need to step back from the footballing side and let Fabio work with Conte. I don't think that this is a sudden burst of generosity from a Joe Lewis point of view. It'll all have been a completely commercial decision.
