Levy should have handed in his resignation and recommended to Joe Lewis they sell the club at a reasonable price. They bought the club on the cheap and that is the way they run the club. The manager is not the problem, the problem is the people running the club.

Levy should have... SACKED BALDINI!
Yep thats the spirit! Blame the multiplicity of complaints and the years of the same complaints on the guy who got here last year and brought players with extremely high potential and one who was already very good that we proceeded to ruin! That's the bsodl way! Deflect the blame unto others!

The blame falls squarely on short stuff's shoulders.

Levy should have signed Ronaldo, Messi, and Kane.

And the Llama. And the Great Dane, and...

You get my point. We're doing a bit better than under Sugar or Irving Scholar.

Stick to watching us being a laughing stock then. Massimo Chelevy will carry on sacking managers that dont get into the top 4. How can they when they are not supported?

De Boer wouldn't have been a sure thing, but all available evidence tells me he would've been a far better fit for us than Pochettino. Why Levy couldn't see that this squad wasn't a fit for Pochettino's high pressing style is beyond me. That's not to say Poch won't succeed, but he's going to need to be backed majorly in the transfer market (which means net spending) and will need to keep the faith of his best players.

You know that De Boer also plays a high pressing style right? And a high line, and we know how much people here love that. Oh and he also plays 1 upfront which people also moan about.

It's increasingly clear how young and /or naive many of you are, with no recollection of the days where Nick Barmby was our biggest prospect. I mean that with no disrespect tbh, but some seem to have no idea how high we've risen - without Russian oligarch or oil money. COYS!!!

Imagine having a performance appraisal at work.

Now imagine making the argument that you are doing a better job than your predecessor who left 13 years and 9 months ago.

Does that stand up really? If so I might use it!

I agree that I want to see more continuity - but are you seriously suggesting we've not seen improvement under Levy? Really? o_O

Who else was in the race when we appointed avb can anyone remember??
The bookies had Moyes as favourite
followed by Rafael Benitez, Roberto Martinez, Andre Villas-Boas, Jurgen Klinsmann and Capello

You look at that list and think there's no way we'd choose AVB from that lot.

1 point.

Yes we're 1 point better than this time last year.
Bring back Sherwood! Or AVB! Or Ramos or someone!

As long as we sack Poch ffs. It's clearly not healthy for a club to persist with one manager for this obscene length of time.

Barmby was a decent prospect, but enrolled his son in Man Utds youth academy, looks like he has no faith in ours.

The fact is ENIC cut corners wherever they can.
No investment in a scouting network.
Not enough youth coaches and first team squad coaches on the books.
Bad youth scouting.
Failure to invest extra money in the transfer market.
Poor quality merchandise.
Not holding onto our best back office staff and allocating them too many roles.

The first three failures are the most important because the fact is Spurs cannot survive financially without a world class youth system and a top class scouting network. Spurs are just going to fall further behind if we do not invest in these things.

The other thing Spurs need to stop doing is worrying about sell-on values. The fact is, it is hard to predict a players development and sell-on value so it is a waste of time.

Levy also fails because of Nepotism where important roles in the club are filled by family and friends and they do not bother to do them.

Really starting to think no manager will do well at spurs. Fergie or mourinio would struggle. Theres something going on at board level that resricts our managers. Law of averages says we should have dropped lucky on a winning manager by now.

Levy Should have...!
Persuaded Martinez to manage us rather than taking over at Everton.

Levy Should have...!
Persuaded FDB to manage us rather than staying on at Ajex.

Why would a resigning member of an investment company suddenly tell the owner to sell at a reasonable price? That would be so against the point.

Levy should have...

Bought all of Phil Spector's wigs when he went to prison. Would have made the place more entertaining at least. Imagine the thrill of match day. Will he wear the Robert Smith Cure barnet or opt for the dreadlocks?

Do they run it on the cheap? That's not really what the financial statements suggest.

I have absolutely no issues with the money side and how Levy manages that, but I accept that many will take issue with some of the non-financial decisions take at board level.
