Yes on current form he is almost unplayable. Defenders just Can't find a way to stop him.

8 goals in 3 games I believe. Looking forward to next Sunday to see him play again.

Rooney is class but I think this guy is a level above. He's just a freak, he's got everything, so hard to knock off the ball.

Not if Maradona has anything to say about it...

Yes I agree, Maradona should be put into a straitjacket and kept as far away from the team as possible, whilst Messi should be given the ball and be told to "run around a bit" as a certain Spurs manager once said

Argentina have the players to go far in the tournament, but I'm afraid Diego will wreck their chances. Now's as good a time as any to show this video again. Would love to see Messi involved in a goal like this.

Rooney is unbelievable, certainly a contender, but that's all he is. Messi is the most unreal and exciting player I've seen since Ronaldo (the proper one).

All i can say is, thank god i decided to follow Barca 11 years ago. There is only one Messi!

I always felt a bit gutted that i didn't see Marodona in his prime. But watching Messi week in and week out more than makes up for it.

Meeeeeeeeeeeessi

Messi is the greatest in the world. He's been unstoppable this season and I hope he finishes top scorer in La Liga and Champions League. No player comes close to him, just imagine Rooney upfront for Barcelona though. That would be something, a team with Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Rooney o_O

As well as being an incredible player, he's also got a fantastic team and work ethic.

It's scary and mouthwatering to think how young he is and that in theory he is still to reach his peak.

He's phenomenal. I keep having this urge to subscribe to Sky so I can watch him play more often!

I often see his dribbles first time round and it looks like defenders keep getting their foot to the ball and it's deflecting past them. Then when you see the replay you realise they've never touched it, he just has such incredibly close control he can skip past the challenge and then burst into space.

It's lucky he's so good really, because Barca would be fucking boring to watch otherwise!

He's worth a bid but not sure he'd fit into our midfield, we have too many small players if we play Modric, Lennon and then Messi:wink:

He's like a young Jason Dozzell.

He is one of those player you would happily pay money to watch(Messi - not Jason Dozzell!) You can sense the crowd sit up when he collects the ball. He is the complete packages as well, he has bags of talent but also has the right temperament.I think he will carry Argentina are in the World Cup, even though they have an average team, and is a good tip for the golden boot - especially if he keeps this form up (good odds at the moment too).
