Had a good game on Sunday. Would not be opposed to getting him in January
I'll be very surprised if we don't revisit in Jan. They won't lose him on a free next summer so will be working on a replacement now to get in early Jan so they can let Kelly leave. No idea on what he would cost but there will be a good few clubs interested I'm sure.

Good to hear, hope we can persuade him to come.

Hopefully send them Dorrington or Phillips the other way on loan if possible.

I don’t think we have plan to send Phillips on loan

I guess our plan to kept him in consecutive 3 years to become Club trained quota

Wasn't in the Bournemouth squad in the game following the transfer window due to his disappointment of not getting his move to Spurs according to Bournemouth reporters, which indicates to me that he is really set on coming to us in January.

I like that he can also play left back, could potentially do a job similar to Davies who have been put on later in games when we're trying to protect a lead.

The problem might be the price. Bournemouth might want close to 30m

They can want whatever they like but he'll have 6 months left before he goes for free and they'd be wise to take what's on offer. He'll also have a lot of say on where he goes in Jan so they can't be too picky.

If we really want him as cover for the next few years. I think we get this done for 15 mil, or we just wait till Summer and get him on a free, as if he was truly upset at not joining us. It tells me that he is definitely keen on us, so could wait for us for sure.

Still think he'd be a good signing for us. We've tried a few times with the younger defenders (Rodon/Tanganga even Sanchez) and they haven't worked out. But think he'd make a good option when we hopefully have more games next season.

While I do like the idea of signing a talented young English player on a free, I don't think it is likely to happen now.

VDV is a given starter at LCB, if Dragusin comes in I believe he will be the first rotated player for both CB positions and Ben Davies have proved invaluable with his experience and performances. Davies also isn't suited to Ange's LB role so I don't think we will start next season without a proper backup for Udogie.

Kelly himself will be attractive to numerous clubs in Europe on a free and would probably want a clearer path to the starting 11 than competing with one of the most talented left footed CBs in the world.
