This. I don't want to hear anymore about how it hurts. Whatever Jose's failings, this group has collectively been letting us, the club and themselves down for a couple of years now.

I hate to whinge but I have never really recovered from that week.
Thats why I thought "Rabona Shamona"....we lost.
And then on to Zagreb.

You accept you get a lot of lows to go with the lows supporting Spurs but I have only ever taken 1 beating in my life (as a kid) but it felt like that afterwards.

This is exactly why we keep failing. We seem to have this inexplicable notion that we are above this or that competition. Based on what I wonder? It's not like we win at will.

I know what you’re getting at, but we should be better than 7th place. We’ve been finishing in the top four/five for years and years now.

Other than it being a trophy, there’s no incentive to win it.
At least having a CL place made it a worthwhile reason to play your best XI

i don’t think we are above this competition at all. I just think that, due to the standards the club and team have set over the past 5 years, that we should be aiming higher And that we should be more ambitious
