we were pathetic yesterday. Truly awful.
However, isn't this the best time to experiment and try new things when the result isnt going to effect us too much?
I heard people talking yesterday and it was their only trip to the Lane for the season, and it was being pissed away by some experiments that in my opinion were unnecessary. Could you imagine that being your only game of the season that you go to?

As long as you're then willing for the fans to boo, moan and piss off early. Could you imagine that being your only game of the season that you go to? But anyway, it's by-the-by, that was game 17 for me this season and I'd be hard pushed to remember a worse one in the last 3 years that I've been going regularly.
There's a real issue with Newcastle, and I think if we'd have played to our strengths and beaten them, we'd have gotten a lot more out of the game.
We're weak mentally/psychologically and yesterday will do nothing but compound that further. Mistake for me, I would have done it against Bolton or Boro. And then go out with a bang against Liverpool. Full strength, goals and glory.
I'm all for experiments, but yesterday was like testing that water is wet.
it was good to see us trying a 4-3-3 from the get-go, rather than when we are chasing a game.
