It appears he had enough control to stop Berbatov coming in

Or perhaps he is just being given just enough rope to hang himself.

We all know that Daniel Levy is the most machiavellian man in football administration and absolute power lies with him alone.

Machiavelli, George Lucas, Sean Connery?... It's like Highlander up at WHL,... "There can be ONLY one!!!" :ninja:

Harry, AVB, and now will Baldini or Sherwood be next?... but not Daniel...

I say again, he may be the dark lord, but he's OUR dark lord :greyalien:

:p:playful:

P.S. I never liked LvG much and don't particularly rate him either...

Do not want.

Do want De Boer if we're gonna wait until the end of the season.

Me neither. Think it will end in tears though. If Levy thinks AVB and Sherwood are arrogant fuck knows what he'll make of LVG.

Why is it every manager we have leaves Levy "unimpressed with their management style"?
except LVG has been there and done it all so he deserves to be able to do whatever the hell he wants should he come in. whether levy sees it that way ofcourse it remains to be seen.

Well, yes. And from articles I've read, I seem to recall that one thing LVG seems to insist on is a whole season to get players accustomed to his system. I'm not sure Levy will cotton too much to that. Actually, I can't see quite a few of our fans cottoning to that.

I have no doubt he will be our manager next season unless Sherwood does something spectacular with the team

But whatever way you cut it, next season will be probably be transitional as well with some going out this summer and new boys coming in with the new manager shaping the squad.

The one big plus of making a high profile managerial appointment is that we might be able to keep the likes of Vertonghen and Lloris.

Give it a month and the LVG Out thread will appear.
