Seems the ITK's are now talking about the possibility of us landing both Fabiano and Suarez.

I'll be honest, i've seen basically nothing of Suarez, no point in watching youtube clips of any player and the world cup just passed isn't really a good judge of any player. From what people have said though he seems an upgrade. I agree with the idea that we have now outgrown Defoe, Keane et al. Obviously they have been good for us but i do think we need to step up to real quality, its alarming how little our forwards have scored this season and makes me wonder where we would be without VDV and Bale etc chipping in.

Fabiano was praised massively on here in the summer yet it seems a somewhat poor season so far has put many people off, perhaps he just needs a change of scenery?

One things for sure, im positive lots of decent strikers out there would be thankful of the potential service from Bale, Modric, VDV, Lennon, Huddlestone, Pienaar etc and i certainly think that the amount of chances we create a game would be a welcome gift to the next level of striker, the sort of chances we wish Defoe/Crouch/Keane would take.

Both you sure? You got a link to that?

I'd love both of them, if one turns out bad hopefully the other isn't. But what I'm really hoping they're both aces and will adapt as quickly as VDV had.

Sorry bit poorly written on my part, referring to SgtWilsons latest bit (second one down in the ITK forum) so its only really one guy thats alluded to it but made me think a bit.

No idea if he's a reliable itk with any kind of form.

I guess the main worry with getting both would be having to wait for them both to settle.

of course there would be time to settle but i also think both have a point to prove which may help the transition. Brazil are producing a lot of decent forwards and fabiano must perform to stay in the frame, he has obviously been unhappy at seville and anyone who is unhappy isnt going to perform, spurs would be a new start and a new challenge, and if hes man enough for it he could be a massive name again.

with regards to suarez, people have been saying 'its only the dutch league' which i think will make him want to prove himself in the best league in the world. I honestly think both would be fantastic. I (like many others) love pav for some reason, hes infuriating but also loveable at the same time but wouldnt stand in his way if the right offer came. Im happy for keane to go too, he doesnt bring anything anymore

We should not break the bank to get him, I think. Better to break the bank for Lukaku in the summer!

Babel has gone to Hoffenheim so maybe Liverpool are going to win the chase for Suarez? On the other hand I'm relieved Babel wasn't a cash + player exchange deal for Suarez, which leaves us with a glimmer of hope to snatch him off Liverpool ^^

Because Lukaku's big, young and black?

Yes, that is right, man. Spot on there! LOL

No, it is because of his ability to score goals, and he also is a good team player. A fantastic target man, who are suited for the Premier League, and we should denter our Premier League rivals from signing him. We want to become the best Club in England!

This morning in de Telegraaf, basicly saying that he's waiting on Ajax before signing for Hoffenheim.

Don't Ajax just want cash for Suarez, so it would be better all round if Liverpool sold Babbel and could offer then straight money?

The money shouldn't be a problem for Liverpool since they can pay in installments.. Frank de Boer mentioned Babel was a non issue though, so I fear for him.

Ajax are probably looking on thinking "If Darren Bent is worth £18m or £24m or whatever.... then Suarez is worth...." blah blah blah.

We won't pay £30m for him, and nor should we (in my opinion) they can forget it. We need to move on if that's the case.
