Plus if it is because of the sale of Bale then he would cost us more than the £40-50m that LFC want, more like £60-70m

I have absolutely no time for being nicey nice and wanting all Spurs players to be lovey dovey. We have had our fair share of ****s in different ways (Woodgate, Thatcher) who didn't have half of the ability.

I'd love to have the little shit at Spurs.

lets just say i would be very very unhappy. I can't recall ever being actively unhappy about an incoming transfer, but this would really be hard for me to take I must say. Hiatus? Maybe.

A definite lessening of interest...

Obviously, since, you know, he's evil, he'd probably be agitating for a move for a couple of months... so hopefully it wouldn't last long.

I would rather not. As a kid, I grew up idolising Hoddle, only to realise as I got older that he was a bit batty. It didn't take away my memories of him as a footballer, but there was a sense of disapointment when I realised he was barmy. Unfair or not*, I wouldn't want my sons to grow up idolising Suarez as a footballer, only to find him a total tit.

* Yes, I know footballers shouldn't be idols and such, but try telling that to my 11 year-old self.

On that Liverpool documentary, Suarez actually seemed a genuine family man. His antics on the pitch are one thing, but is he more dispicable than say Crouch, who cheated on his Mrs with a hooker when he was with us? Woodgate who was guilty of affray in an alleged racist attack?

Alleged racist attack, he wasnt convicted of a racist attack but of affray which is fighting. Cheating on your mrs with a hooker, must be the first time that has ever happened.

Suarez called Evra a nigger and bite Ivanovic - the 2nd time he has biten a player. As well as his career ending challenges in Eredivisie.

I'd love him here & i know he comes with baggage but i think he'd be worth it.

Particularly because
  1. He's a brilliant player that would go a long way to filling the gap left by Bale
  2. Can you imagine the reaction of the Liverpool fans?
  3. Can you imagine the reaction of all the scouse orientated TV pundits, particularly Jamie Redknapp?
  4. How much it would piss off the Goons if we got him
However, it'll never happen.
  1. They'll vastly increase the asking price on the back of the Bale cash
  2. They won't sell him to us
  3. With no CL i doubt he'd come

It's bad enough he has to come to WHL once a year let alone making it his home ground. Suarez can f*** off.
