Nice piece of business. Hopefully he continues to develop like he is and comes in ready to help the squad. We probably could have a set of CBs named Romero, v d Ven, Phillips, Vuskovic and Dorrington.
It's obviously early to say but I think expectations could well be that this potentially has the makings of our greatest CB group in the clubs history.

Love this. Could see us bringing in an experienced CB in the short term to provide cover for a couple of seasons while Phillips, Dorrington, Vuskovic etc.. earn their stripes. It's been suggested he has a higher ceiling than Gvardiol which is exciting.

THE BIGGEST TRANSFER IN THE HISTORY OF HAJDUK: LUKA VUŠKOVIĆ BECOMES A TOTTENHAM PLAYER!

In the biggest outgoing transfer in the Club's history, 16-year-old Luka Vušković becomes a player for the English giants Tottenham. With the transfer agreement between Hajduk and the English Premier League, Luka becomes the most expensively paid defender at his age in history, and he will officially be registered for Tottenham in 2025.

He is one of the most talented players of his generation, he was a member of the junior team that won second place in the Youth Champions League, achieving the highest score in the history of the Academy, as well as Croatian club football in the younger categories. It was with his goal that Hajduk's juniors defeated Shakhtar in the round of 16 and advanced to the round of 16 of the competition. He is a regular member of the younger age categories of the Croatian national team.

Luka Vušković entered the history of Hajduk. At only 16 years and two days old, he made his debut in the championship match with Dinamo, and three days later he scored a goal in the quarter-final match of the SuperSport Croatian Football Cup, thus becoming the youngest scorer in the history of the Club in official matches. In total, he has made 11 official appearances in Hajduk's jersey so far, and he was part of the team that won the Cup in the 2022/23 season.

- First of all, I want to thank Hajduk for making this possible for me, the coaches who contributed to my development, the people from the Academy, all the employees of the Club. In the past months, I was aware of the interest of big clubs from abroad, and I tried to stay on the ground, train and prepare for new challenges. It is a great honor to see that a club like Tottenham has shown such a desire and put in so much effort to bring in a player of my age. This makes me proud, and it is certainly a motive for me to work even harder on my development and further progress in order to be as ready as possible for the moment when I will play for their first team - pointed out Luka Vušković.
I don't want to sound all West Ham here, but we're "giants" guys :woot:

I know absolutely nothing about this kid, but I'm happy we're taking our youth setup/recruitment more seriously. He sounds like a top prospect and if he pans out we could be set for a long time.
Absolutely. If we're too late (too much competition) in signing the likes of Gvardiol when they're at second tier clubs, then we need to fish around the world for top youth talents like this.

I think him saying about how the project at Spurs appeals to him, I've often wondered if that within the industry, there's knowledge of a direction of a project that they understand over the course of years even if it's not visible in the now or whether it's merely a phrase to throw out.

I was shocked when Sarr and Romero joined us when Nuno was in charge and wondered if there was something we didn't know or whether Paratici has a phenomenal pitch.

I know thing's look great right now but it feels such a quick turnaround that I thought a reputation of us being an appealing destination would take time to cultivate. Yet here we are with this signing.

@rossdapep and @SandroClegane, I think you have experience on the inside, be interested to hear your opinion?

Have we signed any other Pini Zahavi clients before? He used to be quite close with Chelsea and was involved in the controversial transfer of Ashley Cole from Arsenal to Chelsea.

He is the agent of Hojberg. Used to be N'Dombele agent. Based on the medias, he was involved in Kane's saga. Super-agents may work as the intermediaries. I just remember his name emerged several times when we needed intermediaries.

Looks like the son of Fraser Forster

Great to see us making these signings again. Also love a Croatian at the club. I'm sure Perisic will help him settle.

Perisic will likely be long gone by 2025.

Just to be clear, I mean he’ll be playing for someone else, not that I think he’ll be dead.

He was Hojbjerg's agent.

Hojbjerg just left him because he did not get a move away from Spurs this summer.

Really good move this and as a statement it may be enormous.
I don't doubt it is easier to sell our project to young players as everything is in place for a successful future than it is to a top player in his prime who wants to play in the CL now but I think we'll address that this year.
I can imagine him and his people being blown away by the stadium and training facilities when they saw it, you'd have to believe in our future seeing them I reckon.

I was gonna ask just how serious his injury is for a moment.
