I thought you had to be actually playing at the club for that to happen? Isnt that why we have held back on loaning out some players before because they need to stay to get 3 years unbroken at club

3 years before 21 so if he joins as soon as he’s 18 he’ll get that

Why not just wait two years when surely they could get more money for him and he could make his choice then?

Unless they need the money now. I imagine £12 million is a lot of money to Hajduk and you get to keep the player for 2 years as well is a good deal. Yes there is the possibility that he is worth more then that in 2 years time but there is also the possibility he isn’t.
