I'm from Southend and my cousin's son is a central midfielder with the Shrimpers too. In fact, due to Amos signing, he got the huff and is currently training with Bournemouth hoping to get a deal with them.

I will be very surprised if Amos gets any starts or even meaningful sub appearances while Southend are in the play-off race. (That's not slight against our lad Amos.) Shrimpers have got a decent manager for that level in Phil Brown and a reasonable academy producing their own youngsters which are often rather frustratingly snapped up by larger clubs.

Not sure what it say that Southend stuggled, Amos got subbed and they suddenly scored 3 goals ..
Either way it's good to see him get game time.
