Feeling like one of those games at the moment. Take those early chances we had and it's a very different game but Bissouma doing that is just insane. Just needed players to calm down and go back to what they've been doing so far this season but think the missed chances and maybe the expectation that they should be beating this lot comfortably has allowed anxiety to creep in even though there's still plenty of the game left to play. Needed to get to half time and reset but a man down makes it harder now.

Mistake by Bissouma but I despise the inconsistency of referees. Loads of the Luton players should have been booked. This game makes me think the referees see this as evening up for last week.
Disagree. Referee has been solid. He has booked them when it’s been called upon and hasn’t fallen for Luton’s players and fans screaming for FK’s by throwing themselves to the floor. He has reffed a fine game thus far got Bissouma’s dive spot on.

We either go all out attack for 15 minutes and hope we score or bring on Hojbjerg or GLC for Richarlison if ange is feeling a little ballsy

Bissouma needs a kick in the @ss. Seriously that was so so dumb. I am shocked by how dumb that was. On a yellow and a blatant dive. Not a mis timed tackle a blatant blatant dive. Now he misses the next game too. What a d!ck.

At least it's not for want of trying with Richarlison, he runs and battles he just doesn't have the quality with the ball at his feet and we definitely need to strengthen that front 3 in Jan if at all possible, I'm not overly excited about kulu starting every week either if I'm brutally honest.

If its PEH on for Richarlison I don't think we're much weaker. Definitely think we can win this still.

Richarlison's misses are fairly stark. He's not clinical enough, which is what you'd hope for since we know he's not skillful enough. I'd hope he's the one subbed off now for a central midfielder.

Bissouma has been instrumental to our success. One of the three most important players this season. It was a moment of stupidity. He's smart enough to learn from it.
Thank God it happened against Luton and not Man City.

Anyways, second yellow is a one match ban right? Does the ban Biss got from collecting cards still count? In other words, does he get banned for one or for two matches?

He’s banned for one game, but his yellow card count is still 4, so he is likely to be suspended for another game fairly soon.

Back off my hols, to be treated to what I'm afraid was a dog shit half of football tbh.

First 10-15 mins we're playing some nice stuff, creating chances, but absolutely barbecuing them, really badly.

Since that quarter of an hour it's been awful. Slow, sloppy, erratic passing. People getting caught on the ball. Silly decision making. Forcing passes or long balls instead of building pressure. All that has done is loosen our control, and given them at least some sort of foothold and encouragement and some belief.

The dumb red card is just the cherry on the top, of what has been 30 mins of a lack of brains, composure and performance.

Just making it hard for ourselves, it's no way a forgone conclusion this but second half will need a big reaction.

Positivity needed people

The team have to dig deep, keep the ball and be smarter and get the goal early on. Luton will still sit back.

He was already going to miss the next game when he picked up the 1st yellow.

I don't think being down to 10 will make much of a difference as Luton seem happy to let us have the ball anyway, but mentally I think the missed chances are taking their toll on the players and a few heads are dropping. Richarlison should come off for Hojbjerg. Keep plugging away and the chances will come again. Just need to take them.

Don’t tell me what I’m doing.

I said I haven’t been impressed with Bissouma the last couple of games. He’s one of my favourite players in the team and I’m more than aware of his importance.

However, his performances in the last few weeks have been a massive drop off from the way he started the season.

Our last two games have been against Arsenal and Liverpool, he is going to look different against stronger opposition, whereas our first 5 games was statistically one of the easiest starts. Good understanding of the game though.

I don't dislike Richy but I thought he'd influence things a bit more today in a more physical environment.
