Think it was @Trix who said we’re looking for a fox in the box type. We get a clinical finisher who can add 8-15 goals to this group and there’s no limit. For all of Richie’s qualities you really can’t see him scoring consistently enough.

I’m sorry but richarlison should’ve buried that chance. Two yards out, keeper nowhere to be seen. Not sure what you watched but that absolutely was a sitter.
Nowhere to be seen, he was in goal :ROFLMAO: What the hell are you on about. One thing I will say is that I've been on this forum for years and I mean nearly 20 now and the moronic stuff that comes out is still quite surprising. Please get some perspective.

I’ve played 11 a side football for years and that Richarlison chance should’ve been buried but you don’t think a £60 million striker should’ve scored it. Okay pal 👍🏼. I think you need to go back to bed and wake up in a better mood.

I did not understand why nobody else saw this. He was our most complete CM all match. Great all-around game from him.

Ended with 2 tackles, 3 interceptions, 3 successful dribbles - and just bags of energy when we needed it.

ETA - and 3 Key Passes
Sarr, Kulu and Porto had so much energy it made up for having one man less. Ridiculous ground covered.

I've not seen any of the match; was Biss's sending off for two yellows or a yellow and a straight red?

Which fixtures will he miss? Ta (y)

Two yellow. Stopped a counter, then dived for a free kick outside their box.
From what we hear he'll miss next game. And still remain on 4 yellow total, so next yellow is another suspension.
Will sit out Fulham, return for Palace, if he get another yellow it will be the Chelsea game.

You’re right, I’ve rewatched it and the keeper was in goal, however he was never ever saving it, wasn’t getting to it at all and Richy was literally 2 yards out. Even Harry Redknapp's wife Sandra could’ve scored it.

Thanks for that (y)

Him remaining with cards on his rap sheet is a bit odd isn't it? I'd have thought he'd return with a clean sheet.

Thought so as well, but then he'd obviously have two match suspension immediately, as just one would be a let off for taking a send off

I think he should have scored but in The Telegraph (behind a pay wall unfortunately) there's a photo showing his shirt being pulled very obviously by a defender. I don't think it should have stopped him scoring but we should have had a penalty if VAR was on the ball. Obviously if we were Liverpool we'd be asking for a replay.

For rhe Richarlison miss. I wouldn't underestimate the surface really. The ball bounces up a fair bit. He should score of course but misjudged the bounce and shinned it. You can tell he thinks its going to come to him low as he doesnt position his boot over it. Its just that these moments keep happening where it just doesn't happen for him. The miss you can forgive on its own but its just another miss and another game without a goal or great performance. It genuinely feels like another number 9 curse. I don't think he's doing any better than Soldado did.

How were Luton unlucky at the end? We were clearly the better team and good value for the 3 points. They had one major chance and even up a man looked nowhere near scoring the final 20-30 minutes.
Just my opinion after the game. Thought they had the better of it in the second half and we were holding on for the win.

We'll Agree to disagree on it but I was on edge for those final 20-30 minutes!
