Can see a friendly being negotiated as part of the deal.

Really? Come on, I also qualified this as winners or influential players for their teams in their competitions. I’m not sure most of these particular Stoke players helped with this tbh. Anyway, I know in my own head what I mean :cautious:. I think.

Okay. So instead of buying Malcom or players like him you want us to buy the influential players who have won leagues and major trophies?

How exactly would we accomplish that? Those players aren't available and we don't have the finances.

Just seems like a silly thing to say in my opinion. Unless you've got some kind of examples.

This kid is everything we need and have been missing in our attack. He might need to adapt to the league, but when he does he's gonna be something else. Need to secure him at all costs this window, as I feel he'll be out of our price range in the summer
Agreed.
Him on the right Son on the left with alli and Eriksen through the middle will be unreal.

I don't question his talent one bit but he's a risky signing imo. Could easily be another Boufal or Taarabt, but equally could be a Neymar.

He may be quicker than eriksen but eriksen is a very good athlete, covers a hell of a lot of ground, about three quarters of the way through last season a stat came out saying he’d covered the most ground in the league

Eriksen is an exceptional athlete great stamina. Malcom might be more on the explosive side different sort of athlete what’s important is their footballing abilities

If it wasn’t a risk he would already be playing for someone else right now.

Why the argument - what’s the big deal? Go back and actually read what I said on page 33. You will see that I said I would prefer players who have won things in their respected leagues or competitions. Why have we not got the finances to buy someone from a lessor league? Why is this now elevated? No I’m not going to find examples because I don’t know enough about individual players. It’s a philosophy - a winning mentality. But then again that’s obviously just plain silly.

Really excited about this lad. These are the type of risks we need to take. He is exactly the type of player we need, he would give us a bit of an X factor that we sometimes miss. Of course he could flop, however, st his age I think we could still get a decent fee for him

He won the league with Corinthians

So did Paulinho, which shows how pointless his point was.

At the end of the day winning things means nothing, what has Kane won? Bugger all, yet that doesn't mean he's not one of the top 3 strikers in the world right now.

So like any signing ever?
He hasn't played a minute in the Premier League.

Nowhere in my post did I say he will absolutely be a flop. But I just don't think we should all set our expectations too high either. I like Malcom but that doesn't mean it's not a risk. I liked Boufal too.
