Am a US Spur and will be travelling back to UK at start of the season.. Am trying to work out travel schedule while I'm back.. What are the chances of there being tickets available for this game when they go on general sale on the 22nd July? It's been a while since I bought, and when i did it was always as a member...

How about if i become a member again? Will becoming a bronze member today allow me to buy a ticket tomorrow?

thanks in advance!

There will always be a chance the week before if you check the eticketing website for returns for people who at the last minute can't make it.

Buying in the General Sale period is not going to happen though! This will sell out at member sale. Returns come up for every game though.

you might consider becoming a lilywhite member as i believe it's cheaper -

best to check your needs against the packages offered

AFAIK, the minute you're accepted as a member you can buy a ticket in the priority period - none of us have our packs yet - but presumably members are buying tickets

as ever you can check with the club/official site

It's very unlikely that the tickets WILL go to general sale. Your best bet is to become a member and attempt to buy a ticket as soon as they go on sale to members, literally 9:30am.

I don't know how quickly they can give you a membership number, you'll need that to book a ticket. It might have to be done manually, in which case you'd have to wait for the ticket office to reopen tomorrow. I'd probably ring them tomorrow morning and try and buy both together but they will be very busy so you might have to be on the phone for 1-2hrs at 4:30am your time. If you know someone who lives here and is a member but doesn't want to go you could ask them to buy a ticket for you.

thanks guys.. so it's 9.30 am UK time that it'll open up - that's 1.30am for me...

can anyone remember if they got their membership number straight away online? (and it was out of office hours when they purchased it)?? If i get it straight away then i'll just buy a bronze to make sure and forgo having to wait up until the early hours...

my worry would be that if it isn't immediate/automated, they are going to be so swamped in the office tomorrow that I wouldn't even get a membership number processed until later that day.

The membership appeared on my account instantly. It was during business hours but I think it was automated.

AFAIK there is no need to wait between becoming a member and buying a ticket.

However you need to consider how you'll get your membership card. The card contains all the tickets you buy so you need it to enter the ground. If you specify a US address it may not get to you before you leave. So if possible, i'd specify a UK postal address.

That's what I'm thinking Jules. I don't remember when I got my number, it might have been weeks later when I got the card in the post, but that doesn't mean I couldn't have rung up and got it sooner. Hopefully someone who's bought a new membership recently will know.

If you get hold of someone at 1:30am they may be able to process it there and then but it'd probably take 20mins minimum

Punky, what do you mean "the card contains all the tickets". You only need the number to book and the card when you go to the match. Even then it's unlikely you'll be asked to produce it, I've never been asked for a membership card (other than to get into a pub  )

Thanks Punky.

I went for the Lilywhite membership. Is the member number (7 digits) the official membership number? That is all i see now in my account, and in the email receipt. It would seem so intuitively, but i ask because it is the same as my Client Reference number...

Yup, your client reference number is your membership number.

You should be able to log in now

https://www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspur/default.aspx

With your client refernce number and your password.

Once in at the top you should your membership details.

If you scroll down, where it says "Premier League Home fixtures". It has Fiorentina in there at the moment, but that's where Man City will appear at 9:30am BST

perfect! thanks!!!

camaj - during my searching for this i read things that suggested this year there are no longer any paper tickets if you are a ST holder or a member - i guess the card you get with either is linked to your purchase and is scanned at the turnstile to allow you in...?

Can't believe I've just logged on and managed to get 2 seats together in the South Lower block 33! Don't want them though but last season you couldn't do that for this fixture!

Congrats Jules. AFAIK only ST holders have the new card, it makes sense for them since it replaces the ST book. Given that members might not even book 1 ticket, it wouldn't save that much.

Maybe because it's the first game people are slow off the mark. Maybe they're saving their money for the CL
