The ref was awful and the defence was very snakey

But for my money the most disappointing aspect of the game is Soldado

He played well to set up eriksen for the goal but he offers very little to the team and in a big away game against a team like city you need a striker with the nerve to score a pressure penalty like that and or the chance he had with just the keeper to beat

Key moments in a game which simply had to be taken - I've tried to believe in him and defended him frequently but this boy will never be a success at Spurs and the best option now is to sell him and take the loss so we can buy someone who can give us the striking options we need

Mason was very good although he should have score his one on one - his possession turnover lead to our goal an he was very good all day

Capoue was poor and dier left us exposed on the right again with his positional awareness - he's a real talent though and this experience will be invaluable to his development

Lamela played well as did eriksen and lloris probably edges man of the match from mason

Aguero has almost doubled his season's tally in one game, against us. I know he's world class, but whichever way you look at it, it's not good enough from us.

We consistently make other strikers look like Pele.

Two goals from penalties. One with us a man down. He is world class but some perspective is warranted IMO.

Clutching a bit but has the linesmen been in line with the last man at any stage of the game??? They always look so far behind the action.

History repeating itself. With eleven men we simply cannot compete at the highest level. The defense irrespective of being down to ten men are just too poor.
Doesn't help to leave out the best CB in the EPL for the managers pet.

Especially when that pet is a lump with the turning circle of Michael Dawson on ketamine.

No one should be upset with our team. We have played well. It's a shame it's gone the way it has but if we attack like we have against other teams we will get some big wins.
