MAN CITY 2 - 1 SPURS Caulker
Aguero, Dzeko
Spurs:Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen, Sandro, Huddlestone, Lennon, Bale, Dempsey and Adebayor(Defoe)
Subs: Lloris, Naughton, Dawson, Livermore, Carroll, Sigurdsson
City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy, Yaya Toure, Barry, Silva, Tevez, Aguero and Kolarov
Subs: :pantilimon, Kolo Toure, Sinclair, Garcia, Dzeko, Razak and Maicon
Ref: Michael Oliver
13:51 GOAL- Man City 0-1 Tottenham (Steven Caulker)
Who saw that coming? Steven Caulker wriggles free to meet Tom Huddlestone's right-wing free-kick and powers a header beyond Joe Hart. Could City's unbeaten run at home be under threat?
13:55 PENALTY APPEAL Sergio Aguero turns sharply in the area and flicks the ball forward, but it strikes William Gallas's arm. Big shouts for a penalty from City, and I think they had a strong case for one.
13:57 CLOSE! This game is warming up nicely. Tom Huddlestone drills a sweet 25-yard drive which looks to be heading in, only to swerve late and miss Joe Hart's left-hand post by a few inches.
14:00 YELLOW CARD Seconds later, Pablo Zabaleta is booked for a tackle on Emmanuel Adebayor. That battle is definitely one to watch.
14:19 HALF-TIME - Manchester City 0-1 Tottenham
14:46 SUBSTITUTION - Maicon for Matija Nastasic (Man City) Taxi?
Gareth Bale might just be licking his lips here. Remember the San Siro? I suspect Maicon does, and the two are now in direct competition on the Spurs left flank.
14:53 GOAL - Manchester City 1-1 Tottenham (Sergio Aguero)
A touch of class from Sergio Aguero to draw City level. The ball breaks to him from Yaya Toure on the right-hand side of the box and the Argentine takes his time, turns inside and coolly psses the ball beyond Brad Friedel. Fine goal.
15:01 SUBSTITUTION - Edin Dzeko for Carlos Tevez (Man City)
15:05 YELLOW CARD - Emmanuel Adebayor (Spurs) Referee Michael Oliver comes back to book the striker for that challenge. It was clumsy but I don't think there was any great menace in the challenge.
15:06 SUBSTITUTION - Michael Dawson for Kyle Walker
15: 12? SUBSTITUTION - Defoe for Ade
15:15 SUBSTITUTION - Kyle Naughton for Aaron Lennon
15:17 GOAL - Manchester City 2-1 Tottenham (Dzeko)
What was that about a test of character? Edin Dzeko lashes the ball beyond Brad Friedel following a chipped David Silva pass for his seventh goal of the season - his sixth when coming on as a substitute. After the events at White Hart Lane last season, Spurs fans must hate the sight of the striker.

Anyone know the latest on Dembele? been very quite about him unless I missed it.

I think it's still a bad hip that they want to rest not operate on, but who knows for definite? AVB is a lot more secretive in his interviews, the complete opposite of Redknapp - I quite like that he keeps injuries quiet so the opposition dont know the exact players until 1 hour before kick off, but part of me needs to know who plays for my dream team...

Yeah but let's not forget that Redknapp was a grade A bullshitter and fed a lot of bollocks to the press.

Dembele's injury worries me. Hips tend to be niggling injuries that crop up from time to time.

I sense there will be alot of rage on here when we'll probably see yet again Ade and Lloris on the bench.

haha can't believe he dropped Defoe but Lloris come on!

Still would of preferred to have seen 4-4-2 Dempsey is so useless so far. Here's his chance to play with a big target man so let's see!
