Totally believe that. They're not selling us someone who's only gonna come back and haunt them, it's folly.

Hope the club isn't gonna waste all summer chasing after a blatant dead end.
Could wrap up pulsic for the same price , or less

Business is what it is. Having thought about the need for financial gain, football is about competition so I can understand the need to not strengthen a rival. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club must now reassess it's position in the food chain because selling to Man Utd will not benefit us.

I'd love to see Mertens sign for us this season. Martial seems to be our new Damiao

If they think he's that good then they should keep him in the team then. I think it's a testament to us that they scared to sell him to us.

Are United & Mourinho are strong/belligerent enough to deny him a move to a rival?
Or does he accept a move elsewhere?
Just can’t see it working out in our favour

I’d love you to be right. My only concern is that if United did agree to sell him to us, would we be able to grant him that much more football than he’s getting now?
I don't see that as a concern, we need strength and depth. He will come here with a clean slate, If he's good enough he will break into the team.

Sorry don’t agree. He’s leaving Man U to play more. Yes he will play more for us but Pochettino won’t blow smoke up his arse. He’s gotta displace one of Kane, Eriksen, Alli or son to get that. I think he’ll see juve as a better option career wise

Levy will have to make a decision here.
If United refuse they need to be put in the same bucket as Chelsea - no deals either way, just no.

IMO, Toby will be professional if we don't let him go to United. Play him for another year, activate his clause and get the £25m for him when he's nearly 31.

Spot on. We're not in the same bracket as them (yet) but we have to start flexing a little bit of muscle, I feel. We've spent long enough kow-towing to the likes of Man U and we now need to start showing that we're no longer the pushovers we were.
