Move Porro to CM for creativity and put on Emerson at RB
Doesn't really matter. We are narrow like that by design, regardless of who is playing. A team that plays two quick wide players that stay wide are and drift in are going to cause problems. We've seen it a number of times this season already. Our full backs don't operate like conventional fullbacks so don't expect them to defend that way.

It's Ange's decision to do this, and I'm sure he's weighed up the risk v reward in doing so.

Miss Sarr as much as the forward players. Really allowing them too much space on the ball to find passes in our 3rd.

Frustrating as we haven't been that bad at all, but two strikes by two tragically out of form attackers have undone us.

Definitely think there's at least a point here for us.

I'm not sure the plan was for Johnson to start so many games but Ange has had his hand forced. Go easy on him; he's far from the finished article.

There’s something for us in this game if we keep doing what we are doing. Maybe a tweak here and there but we’ve been the better side and are unfortunate to be behind.
We’ve been good and have been let down by a couple of defensive mistakes. Utd also have a mistake in them. Can still go for the win

The autostrada behind our wing backs must be adresses, it is so easy for UTD to just pass directly when we lose the ball, you clearly see that is the tactic and Ange must adjust

Hojbjerg has been good. Has been key to us working the ball out of the back and retaining possession.

I’d take Johnson off. He’s doing nothing.
Id rather see him in the advanced role over Skipp. Skipp offers nothing playing in there. This isn't me digging Skipp out either. He's better in the deeper combative role.

It's obvious that Johnson is a project. He has some tools but he needs confidence as well as an understanding of his own strengths and weaknesses. He's young so he gets a break but I'd put Gil in at 60 if he doesn't step up.

Missing lots of key players and still annoyed we are losing at ht at old Trafford. How times have changed. Hopefully Ange sorts them out at ht.

You can easily see the difference in coaching.

We have played through really well at times and had spells of dominance.

United move the ball around so passively yet because we have a high line and they have quick players, they play it over to get up the pitch.

Yet anytime they try to play out of the back and through, they can't.

Makes it more frustrating that we are losing to them.

Have to wonder if Romero has rushed back a bit. He has been fine in possession but a little rusty in his defending.

Rashford is causing us problems and Porro is getting no help from Johnson. I’ve mentioned this in previous games that Johnson is very slow to get back to help defensively. Werner is doing ok but his lack of recent game time is apparent. I’d like him to run at the FB more instead safely passing back .

We've been the better side
Totally. Dominant on the ball, and created enough to be at least level, if not in front.

Porro v Rashford is concerning me, they are literally just playing it to him or Garnacho and hoping something happens. If we can cut off those lines of supply to them we'll win this.
