Why did you disagree with me making the same point then?

You said they didn't deserve anything, which I disagree with. I'm disappointed we didn't win, but don't think we necessarily deserved to, we didn't create enough.

Shows you just were we are when immediately after the game I’m disappointed at not winning away to Utd, despite missing Maddison, Son, Kulu, Bissouma and Sarr. Can’t wait until the next game. Loving life under Ange with this team.
Spot on mate summed it up well.

Away to Utd a team we typically struggle against with half our team missing and disappointed with only a point shows just what a strong position we are under Ange.

Loving it.

Richarlison was good today, worked really hard. But Jhonson needs benching fast, needs to be an impact sub on tired defense

That's a very decent point considering all the players out.
Much the better team for most of the game, just didn't make the most out of some of the positions we got ourselves into.

But to have been so dominant at OT under the circumstances shows there's a lot to be positive about.....COYS

Shout out to Hojbjerg who, whilst he’s seeking a move away, put in a brilliant performance. Skipp as well. The midfield were brilliant despite the pre game concerns.
Agreed, I was one of those concerned, but both played well. Skipp played some good passes in the more advanced position too. If anything it was the wide men being wasteful.

Both Skipp and Hojbjerg pressed well and good off the ball.

Was overall pretty happy with that, it's still Old Trafford and they did manage that good comeback at Aston Villa.

I thought Skipp and Hojbjerg were pretty good and udogie seemed to manage gernacho pretty well too.

Also not Levy's greatest fan but I think he really helped us getting those deals done early.

Yeah we didn't create enough I agree. But utd didn't deserve anything from that in my opinion. I know goals win games before anyone points it out

Probably slightly kneejerky but, when we have our entire midfield fit and available, I don’t think we would be able to find better than someone of Hojbjerg’s ability in this January market. If we didn’t have him, and signed him this month, I think most of us would be pretty happy in the knowledge that we’ve got a midfielder who is a back up, stable and capable of seeing out close games.

Unless we get a really good offer and/or Chelsea are stupid enough to sell Gallagher, I really wouldn’t be upset if we kept Hojbjerg until the summer.

I feel a little bit sorry for Johnson I get the feeling that he would have been introduced more gradually rather than literally having to play every game

i mean just cos we got a point I don't understand the positivity for PEH or skipp, skipp didn't get involved at all, PEH tried but still a massive downgrade on our usual midfield
Skipp was involved in Bentancur's goal wasn't he? Was the one who received the Romero pass? Also he hit a beautiful pass out to Werner first half. To say he didn't get involved is a bit much.

Could have won could have lost it at the end, I’ll take the point.
Get our players back and March up the league

Skipp played the pass of the game. Did well, of course he's not as good as our usual midfield but it's not his fault they're away at AFCON/injured. He did a good job today.

Hojbjerg was everywhere and was progressive with the ball. Pressed hard and moved about well with Bentancur. For a player who is seemingly on the way out he's done well every time he's come in this season.

Skipp played some lovely passes and PEH had some great movement on the ball too. Much maligned far too often, but I thought they were impressive today.

We only needed one more player to have won that, either Sonny, Madders or Deki would have done the trick .
To save me having to trawl through pages & pages, why was Sess not on the bench ?

Considering the injuries and illnesses, fifth place at this point in Agne's first year is outstanding. The icing on the cake is the style and quality of play. It's good to be a Spurs fan again.
