We created fuck all second half bar the glorious Alli chance/miss.

We weren't undone by a superior side here, nor were we tactically schooled - we fucked it up ourselves with an aberration in defence considering an otherwise solid display from the back.

I can take a 0-0 with a less than stellar attacking display but to lose a six pointer to a close rival is a real punch in the bollocks - don't really see an awful lot of positives to take from that.

On to Wembley against Madrid....with trepidation

Bad day as we are good enough to get something here. A little lacking in quality and belief.
Fine margins though, we had one chance to steal it & missed, different game if that goes in.
Crapy Manchester weather. Pitch got heavy players tired.
Injuries hurt us for the first time today. I'm sorry but sissoko is not my type of player, painful to watch.
United are not all that so very frustrating.

Well, that's not true. We lost at OT last season and last week we beat Liverpool, which we didn't the year before. However, to lose today almost certainly knocks us out of the title race, even this early in the season. Sadly we weren't good enough today.
But last season we won 17 home games. If your home form regresses (which it has), your away form has to improve - and it hasn't.

Gutted to lose 1-0 away at United to a late goal but I'm not going into fucking meltdown.
Bloody shame but long way to go.

I know as Spurs supporters we take a real shining to players who pull on the shirt. But isn't it a bit too soon to build a statue of Fernando Llorente...and it is really necessary to leave it on the pitch during matches?

Bemoaning Llorente when we should be bemaoning why we don't play to his strengths when he's on the pitch. The guys a dominant force in the air, exploit it!!
.....and yet won fuck all aerially nor kept control of the ball when desperately needed.

Not a good cameo - again

We are not a good team when being pressed. Lloris, Dier, Alli, Eriksen panic. Rubbish performance same as last year.

Kane or no Kane our record away to these teams is awful and did it look like changing? Not for me.

Glad we went out of the cup for that....

Zero chance of winning the league until we improve our away form against rivals. Today was there for taking. We're so close but have been for 3 years. Don't even think it's a need to improve team, it's a mentality thing. We keep acting like we used to when we're so so much more these days.

We're a better team than manure, mate.

City will run away with he league.

Manure will struggle against teams who are as physical as they are come the latter part of the season when the stakes are higher all round.

Four home wins, no goals conceded, i'd say that puts them head and shoulders better than us. Sometimes pride has to take a back seat and some recognition of the better all around side.

We are a team who depend on one player, and today proved that point beyond any shadow of a doubt.

Like it or not but we really are looking like a Harry Kane team
Complete rubbish. We played a poor game with the wrong game plan. Previous seasons Harry has been out for long periods and we have scored and played well without him.

Has he won a header for us yet?

I know Son was poor but it's not really his position to lead the line on his own, similarly Alli.

...even with the ineffective midfield play (bar Dembele), we deserved a draw...fell asleep for a second and Mourinho got us...
