Hard to imagine he would put all of our eggs in the Ilaix basket, surely if that one has fallen through he will be looking for other options. If there will be time for him to pull the trigger in other deals is another question, as Ilaix was clearly his top target and to good a oportunity to pass

Barca also have Pjanic who they dont want but cant move. In addition to one of Moriba or Emerson, I hope we try for a loan swap of Ndombele with Pjanic. Ndombele can play for Barca and be in biggest shop window to move for a sale in 2022. Pjanic could give us the much needed experience and guile for this season before Sarr comes next season

Juve obv didn’t want him cause they sold him. He’s a good player for sure. But we’re still way short of what we need at the moment so 2 days to pull some rabbits out of a hat
