Hoping that now he is free from the threat of an Italian ban, he has lots of players lined up for every position for Conte to give his preferences.
Lots of different rumours coming out and hopefully we'll see early moves once the season finishes.

Paratici should legitimately be sacked for the Emerson signing alone. I don't care if he bought him for Nuno, he's an absolutely terrible footballer. How can he possibly have thought he would be good for us. It's embarassing.

RWB was our priority in January. I fucking wonder why.

It’s now going to cost us Champions League football because neither Levy nor Paratici wanted to pull their finger out.

If we end up with someone like Singo or Spence then I must say I’d be a little annoyed we didn’t bring a RWB in Jan. Not bringing one in only makes sense if we were waiting until summer to get a real top quality player that wouldn’t have been available to us in January. Neither of those two are that imo. I guess time will tell.

Head of Recruitment Brian Carey has left the club after 6 years.
Clearly my fault but I'm not aware of this person. There's a Brian Carey on wikipedia who is or was currently working for a "Premier League Club" but this seems to be as far as it goes. How did he interact for example with Steve Hitchen or for that matter Fabio Paratici?

Could've got Trippier. I'm sure the Saudis are paying through the nose but would've been a major upgrade.

From Football London:

Tottenham have confirmed that Brian Carey has left his position as head of recruitment at the club. Having played for Leicester City and Wrexham during his playing career, the 53-year-old went on to manage the Welsh club on a temporary basis before later having assistant manager roles with Doncaster Rovers, Wolves and Chesterfield. Arriving at Tottenham six years ago and taking on a more behind-the-scenes role compared to his previous roles in the game, Carey has now decided to call time on his position in N17. There have been some key changes at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the past year following the arrival of Fabio Paratici as managing director of football. Previously with Juventus and playing a key role in their recruitment as they dominated in Serie A, the Italian has already had a big impact in his short time at the club. football.london reported back in November that Spurs' managing director of football had begun to undertake a thorough evaluation process of all of the departments that linked into the football side of the club in order to raise them to those levels he had been used to at Juventus for more than a decade. READ MORE:Giovani Lo Celso's Villarreal transfer agreement shows Tottenham have fixed Daniel Levy mistake As part of the changes, Spurs are looking to appoint a No.2 to Paratici ahead of a busy summer for the club. With technical performance director Steve Hitchen working alongside him and often seen together at games, the 45-year-old parted ways with Tottenham in February. A statement on the club's official website following Carey's exit read: "We can confirm that Head of Recruitment Brian Carey has decided to leave his role following six years at the club. We would like to thank Brian for his work and wish him well for the future."

I just saw the headline and thought it can't be the same guy who was a Wrexham legend.

Now I'm shocked as I never even knew he worked for Spurs for the past 6 years !

He was one of the worst defenders Leicester have ever had. I'm genuinely shocked it was him. He was a lump of a centre back.

Once he’s finished on sorting out the scouting department, I’m hoping the medical team is up for review next. You can trust the Italians to sort out a medical team. They’ve always prided themselves on fitness.

I'd read that, and the wikipedia article on Mr Carey that it was cut and pasted from, but it says nothing about what he did at Tottenham apart from his title. For him not to be referred to publicly throughout 6 years as Head of Recruitment seems strange. Is it possible he was Head of Recruitment for the Women's teams?
