Per Trix update on midfielders : I hope Paratici is looking at is Fabian Ruiz (last year on contract). Ruiz for 40m and replace Winks. Ruiz is left footed, will add variety and goals

Other than this, one other midfielder we have been linked with Verona' Barak. Verona local news had published few weeks back saying, Conte is after Czech midfielder Barak. He is also similar in style to Ruiz.

We really need that creative midfider who will also score.

I would be very surprised if one of the players (prob the all round player) isnt Weston McKennie.

We were also previously linked with Svanberg who could be a cheap option too.

Just googled it and it's the Argentine at Stuttgart we're linked with, not the Barca player.

Barak and Ruiz are not similar, Barak plays almost as a second striker while Ruiz is a deeper lying playmaker.

He’s not at Stuttgart, moved to Fiorentina last summer, so those are all a year old.

Barak and Ruiz are not similar, Barak plays almost as a second striker while Ruiz is a deeper lying playmaker.

I meant their style of play - both left footed and way they carry the ball is more of a glide than run. But then, have to say, Barak is AM role , not a 2nd striker. As per transfermarkt, his games are credited to AM role not 2nd striker.

He wants CL football, you'd have hoped we'd be in for him too. We need some extra class in CM.

The one thing I'd love this summer, is for us to announce a mega deal out of nowhere. I know Bastoni will be excellent, but really pull off a major signing, someone really elite and a big name would be awesome.

I suppose Bastoni does fit that criteria, but I mean like a De Jong or someone.
