I've always felt his time at Spurs really marked a serious change in our fortunes.

As the article says, no trophies don't take away the fact he took us from pathetic bottom half shite to more or less always in the top 4-6 positions ever since.
What's our average league position been before and after Jol? 11th before, must be 5th since. And it's getting better.

He appeared to have stabilized the team and club. If accounts are true his dismissal was handled terribly. That said he did return for the Finale, so credit to the Club and Jol for once again coming together for the last game at WHL.

Jol was the turning point in our premier league fortunes that put us on the right track, put us back into european football and had the fans smiling again. I'll always be grateful to him for that.

Plus he went nose to nose with Whinger

:)
