He's a great player. Fussy as fuck on the pitch though. It's obviously a Bulgarian thing. (No offense to our Bulgarian contingent).

I don't think he went to Man City because of Sven, more likely money. Anyway I think he is pretty over rated he has never really seemed a team player and whilst he has a very good left foot I don't know how much he would really offer us. I think Modric is already a far better option on the left (since I don't think he will play in the centre if we play 442)

He turned us down last summer because we offered him a derisory wage—or at least, that's what he's supposed to have said in a Bulgarian TV interview. Forget it.

overrated, two trick pony (1-2 anyone then cross) and bigger stropper (yes it's a word ) than Berba.

seen more awful games from him than good for citeh this season, i like my midfielders to be able to pass and not just cross, and when he is having a 'mare he becomes a liabilty.

Sorry, my brother-in-law and his sons are all City season-ticket holders and go to most away games as well, and would dispute that most strongly.

I wanted him to come to us last summer - would be a great buy. Works really hard and has the best left foot (aside from Gareth Bale). Best idea I have heard for a while. His only flaw is a short fuse!

Petrov is world class imo , if he comes here Berba will stay and we will be in top 4 , but he will not come here because of the stupid transfer policy of mr Commoli

You actually don't think we get Modric to play him on the left and let Jenas run around and waste another season in the middle...do you?

I do, because that's what all reports suggest.

We may replace JJ with another centre mid but Modric is meant for the left if the reports I've heard are true.

Ok, i can live with that as long as we get rid of Jenas.

just keep JJ to back hutton up if he gets injured, RD seems to be JJ's best position (as we've seen him fill in there late in games)

RBs are generally expected to be able to tackle!

and yet so many out there get paid and don't...

LD even worse, but let's not get started on that. Spurs pay JJ to not tackle in the midfield AND pass the ball to the opposition. Spurs get half that back when he moves to RD
