Express your thoughts on the performances of our players in the space provided below. Maybe even rate them on a scale of 1-10 if you'd like.

Decent performances from Bentancur, Romero, Dier, Kane and Kulu.

No one bad.

Son gave his all ;)

MOTM was Romero for me - excellent throughout. Bentancur was very good, but started slowly. Kane similar - amazing 2nd half, but sluggish first. Kulusevski was also very good. Dier excellent. If Reguilon could shoot we'd be raving about him tonight. Son had another game where he did not really offer much other than running where the system dictates him to.

Put Son in twice and can't edit one of them out. Don't think he'll be troubling the voters anyway.

Dier for me; didn’t put a foot wrong all night and won everything in the air.

Romero and Davies both solid, as were Bentancur and PEH in midfield.

Not as fluid as we can be up front, but that’s ok. Two goals and a clean sheet away from home is a very decent result.

Surely Dier is going to get an England recall. Another lovely display at the back tonight.

I’m struggling to choose a MOTM between Dier, Romero, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, and Kane.

Son the only player who performed below par, but everybody else was good.

Sorry but Doherty wasn't good tonight - bit of a headless chicken. Harry got better as the game went on. Son looks shagged - needs a rest I think.
Dier my MotM

Kane can make a pass that's better than most- then when he needs to keep it simple he makes the wrong choice and goes for goal. Hes frustrates me and I applaud him in equal messure.

We have lost Son- not sure if tired or the way he is played. Lucas is fit, give Son a few breaks.

We were poor tonight, thankfully Brighton were a lot lot worse.

Didn't think we were poor. The first half was definitely dreary. But the second half I thought we handled the game well. And played a lot sharper when breaking forward.

Dier and Bentancur share the spoils for MoM for me.

Just seen 3 min highlights. Showed about 5 excellent chances we had. Looks like 0-2 flattered Brighton. Highlights didn't show Brighton touch the ball

Good performance overall and got the result we deserved. They didn't really get a look in as we were really solid defensively as a team. CBs all good, Dier the standout for me at the back.

Bentancur my MOTM although could easily have been Kane. Sonny looked tired, and think he needs a rest. We could easily have had three or four today without looking particularly fluid going forward.

Terry Butcher motm.
Romero was very good but you have to wonder about him sometimes hanging around up front.
Is him having a free role a master tactical move by conte?

Bentancur(8) was my MoM, tho people have been quoting Juve fans saying he has a couple of daft passes in him per match....and there they were vs Brighton putting us in some peril each time .This will be tolerated as long as we don't directly concede from them .

Sonny (5) yes(as mentioned above) needs a rest tho Lucas (5)doesn't look lively when his sub appearances arrive. Dier (7) was solid . Kane did well (7) PEH too (7)

Good battling effort from the team.

Against a very poor Brighton side. Its got to be better against WHU.
