Kane was immense today but I gave it to Son (probably unfairly) because it was so good to have him back in the team. You could hear the noise from the crowd increase in expectation almost every time he got the ball.

Kane was brill, entire defensive unit really good and only concerns were Winks (eg what is he doing when Bissouma scores) and Lucas (one of his days where he couldn’t trap a bag of cement).

Love Romero and even more excited about Bentancur after seeing a microcosm of his all-round game.

A couple of decent draws and you never know…

Kane or Bissouma for MOTM!
You’d have thought Brighton actually won the game reading the embarrassing comments re Bissouma

Tottenham won, and were pretty comfortable

Bissouma is good but he’s not the fucking messiah!!!

Unless someone plays out of of his skin, our MoM is always Kane. He's that good.
Agree, with his attitude and application back on track and stays that way, I'd rather we get the best of him. Let him go on free with, fans blessing and appreciation, if no extension signed. He is irreplaceable for us at the moment.

Really impressive. For a start everyone knew what they were doing for the first time.

Central defence looks competitive. Not just scary to play against but like everyone reckons they have a chance to play and are fighting to prove it should be them. Romero in the centre was sensational and Sanchez is just not the same player.

Reguilon is strutting, already looking like a main man. Emerson was ferocious, Doherty was useful.

The story of that back 5 is the story of conte and a massive lesson to the haters.
Treat players well, fill them with confidence and they'll become the players they promised to be, not just dead wood.

The new signings looked the business too. Bentancur looked like the poished warrior that is made for Conte. Kulusevski looked quick, skillful and blessed with a fantastic left foot. Genuine competition for moura on the right.

This pair of conte and Paratici are miracle workers.

Has Lamptey found his way out of Davies' pocket yet?

I thought we were excellent yesterday. Kane was on another level though, so he gets my MotM

I went for Sanchez who I thought was excellent yesterday. Honourable mentions for Kane and Romero. I also thought Son looked lively and while he may not have got much reward he was at least putting the effort in.

Lamptey started brightly, then there was one crunching tackle on him (Romero?) and he disappeared for the rest of the game.

I thought Reg dealt with Lamptey well in the first half. He got pushed higher up 2nd half and so Davies took over doing a job on him.

I don't think he disappeared because of 1 tackle. He gets the shit kicked out ohf him most weeks as one of Brightons best players.

Funny how you're so annoyed by a bunch of supporters who's opinion doesn't count because they weren't at the game. :cautious:

I know Kane is going to get MOTM on here and I won't disagree with it but i voted for Sanchez I thought he was excellent.

He's a different player in a back 3, as are Dier and Davies. Pity the last 2 managers couldn't work that out.
