Word in Spain is tht the Mussachio deal is done and dusted. Old journo friend of mine who usually don't spout sh*t says that the final pieces were concluded tonight.

He also stated that all this aboout part ownershp and agent ownership was bollocks (well not exactly those words, but)

I am worried about this. Although it's appreciated, all itk seems repeated and if 3rd party is true then I'm not sure I see us getting around this

If a club has 3rd part ownership it shouldn't be a problem as they can't influence the player it's basically a sell on clause. It's when the agents have a share they can convince the player to hold out for a higher fee.

It's not bollocks. Unless that guy believed the different percentages meant you had to negotiate with each part like in Italy.
There's even a picture of an official paper where it stated how much River had of Musacchio

probably means bollocks as in not an actual problem with this deal

Maybe he's insinuating that the idea that the deal was being held up due to '3rd party issues' was bollocks.

I think that must've been the case. It seemed we were interested, there was talk of a £17m bid, no other amount has been realistically mooted; then people highlight the multi-ownership issue.

I reckon £17m for a centre back is likely to have been enough and after all Villareal will have been under no illusion as to the size of their cut from day one.

The last week has probably been agent stuff and contractual issues getting ironed out, like usual, and as ever with us taking a little while.

I think the silence is positive. If it was dead Villareal would be putting a statement straight out there. Fingers crossed!

@ryantegan on Twitter: @ryantegan: Anyone else get the feeling Musacchio might be more official today? #THFC

Hope that this is based on fact and not just onion...

He has been honest and said that he is no longer ITK, and if he posts and occasionally believes there to be more substance to his opinion then he'll say so. But heres hoping!

Morning all. I can't help it but I really am quite excited about this transfer (if it happens). Usually, when I feel this excited about something about to happen, it doesn't, so I hope this one breaks the cycle.

if this happens and the guys a good center half (ive no idea never seen him play) then it be amazing to finally have a solid center half pairing with Vertonghen.
