Since it originated with The Sun I doubt it came from Poch after the Rose saga. Screams Chelsea seeing a bad media cycle for us and jumping in to deflect from their own cascade of issues.

It's definitely Chelsea led, in fact I don't even think there's a mention in the articles on Poch actually wanting to go there. Poch would be smart to use as leverage though, I'm sure the interest is legit.

It started from a 'rumour' going round Chelsea, relayed to the Aussie media by Mark Schwarzer

Our press have just jumped on it as their sources have probably heard this rumour as well.
TBH it should come as no surprise that the Russian likes the cut of Poch's jib, he's a bloody impressive young manager.
