For a manager like Poch with everything still to prove, it’s a bad idea. If/when he does move on he’d want a City-like project, Guardiola style.

My issue is not the story itself cos Chelsea may well be looking to make some pathetic approach. What I take issue with is the way TS have made out like Poch would certainly be interested when we all know that he's a man of integrity and he would never move to one of our rivals. Equally, they may have won the league season before last but we've finished above them 2 of the last 3 years and frankly, we are the more attractive club to be at.

Poch clearly wants to be backed this summer and he likely will be so why would he go and join Chelsea after Conte has left for the fact that he didn't feel like he got the players he wanted!!

However, it would be hilarious if it was true that Chelsea made an approach, it'll demonstrate their utter arrogance that they think they can nick a manager from a direct rival. The Skype conversation between abramovich and levy would be something to behold. Next season we are a more attractive prospect than Chelsea in every department, the team, the stadium, money, and CL football.
Poch is not going to give that up to someone else whilst he chases an extra buck in a short term job.

He'll be aware of the financial forecasts for the next couple of seasons and, if he gets his spending right, we'll be in the top 6 biggest clubs both on and off the field so he will have his 'big club' job whilst also having the adulation of a Fergie type figure.

In Dier's case no I don't. I think his form has dipped this season and personally I think he's always had limitations. Ali needs the right sort of handling. His form is to in and out and although he will come up with something special from time to time I believe that what you see now is what you get. We have the World Cup coming up and both will be in the England squad but I wouldn't play either of them. I don't think Dier is good enough for England and I would rather play Lingard than Ali. Now I don't suppose you or anybody else on here will agree but that's how I see it.
