What?

Redknapp downed tools and stopped turning up to training as soon as the England job became available. Pochettino has genuinely turned down Real Madrid, and we’re accepting he’ll probably make the step up in a few years. That’s without factoring in that Real are a huge step up from Spurs, and judging by the candidates it has attracted over the last two decades, the England job isn’t. The difference couldn’t be more stark.
Also was trying to harass Daniel whilst he was sitting Shiva

Seems like poch's mentor just got a job at leeds and is waiting for a work permit.
Who knows in a years time biesla might have them in the prem facing off against poch and pep.

This is the same bloke that lasted 2 days at Lazio and tends to quit at the change of the weather, teamed up with Leeds, who have advent calendars with managers behind each door

Not convinced, Bielsa teams are famed for running out of steam, in a 46 league... lets see how he does.
This.

Appointing Bielsa at a team that plays in a notoriously demanding 46 game season is utter madness. The players will be ruined by October.

If all this had happened 2 weeks ago id have been been very worried. As it is i really can't see the guy who sacked off the best CB and LB in the league for disloyality jumping ship 10 days after signing a 5 year contract.
Very good. But if only he said categorically that "I Mauricio Pochettino will still be the manager of Tottenham Hotspur next season". End of subject. "Now I go to lunch".

I never really understand the lure of Real Madrid. It seems a poisoned chalice role managing them.

Matters not if you are successful, you are soon cast aside and replaced with another.

Definitely seemed like more of an older, more established manager's job pre Zidane, Del Bosque, Capello, Jose, Rafa, Ancelotti. You've forged your career elsewhere and go there for the prestige and money.

I thought that was pretty much common knowledge. Our results went to shit as the players saw he was mentally and literally not there anymore.

He obviously wanted the England job and took his eye off the ball but I never heard any itk or reports of Redknapp not turning up for training
