I’m off this thread now, it’s worse than 90 minutes and Talkspot with all the “wait till he gets Pogba , Sanchez all firing etc. They’re world beaters, huge club , blah , all the money etc. Mourinho isn’t a mug, they’re where they are for a reason. They’re behind us currently.
Loyalty and so underestimated my most commenting. It means a lot and it means a lot to him. There’s no chance of him turning up at the new ground and going in the away dressing room.
He’s hardly at a stalling club, it’s prob one of the best stadiums in European football, the best training ground, some of the best players in the world.
He gets paid millions, we are in London, the players, chairman and fans love him. He’s happy.
It’s like being happily married but some slightly fitter girl wants you to piss off with her, and everyone saying ‘you’d be better off with her because they think she’s fitter or better or whatever.
But like he’s said on countless occasions he’s happy , as would nearly anyone else in the world would be in his position.
Modern day media outlets have so much time and space to fill they’ll milk the fuck out of everything for all it’s worth. Ffs not long ago Talkshite had a 3 hour phone in dedicated to ‘will West Ham come higher than Spurs’ all because they spent a few quid.
I’m as positive I could possibly be about him staying , 99% sure but if he goes he goes. I’m going to avoid listening , watching all the click bait, WUMs and ex players talking shite over this. As a huge group of fans we’d be better off dismissing it. I don’t remember Arsenal fans shitting it when other teams admired Wenger?
I’m sure some on here have their own agendas.
I’ll have a bet with anyone on here , for whatever amount you want that he will still be our manager at the start of next season. Any takers?

I think the idea of him going to United because they are higher up the food chain than we are all very well if he was someone who may not get other offers, Poch doesn't have to worry about that, he'll get all the offers he want's, when he wants them and to be honest I think he may have another preference to United.
In short I don't believe for a second that Poch is going to succeed Mourinho at Manchester United.

If he wanted to go he’d have pushed for the Madrid job. Out of the two in my opinion not in a million years would he prefer the Utd one. Maybe he’s quite happy here and motivated to try and win something. He wouldn’t have signed new contract if he had eye on either of those two jobs, the Utd one has been on the cusp of being available for 18months. This idea a man with his clear honour would on the sly give thumbs up to Utd for a summer move is laughable.

Anyhow, it’s our current standing in the world of football. We could and probably will lose him at some point but he’s not bigger than us (not actually won anything for us yet) and we will be fine. Maybe not top 3 fine but at least top 6 trying to get 4th fine. Some people act like we’d be relegated if he left, even if players left we’d bring in 100s of millions to spend (we always spend what we make on transfers). Regress maybe, but we’d still be a hell of a competitive football team unless we gave the job to Moyes or Mark Hughes etc.

We're doomed!!!

There's only one thing for it. We have to shut down Tottenham Hotspur immediately and just declare that Man Utd have won football forever. Hopefully our new Manc masters will be kind and benevolent enough to at least allow us to play one game in the new stadium before we demolish it...

My biggest fear right now is the uncertainty within the club, it's almost certain he wouldn't leave, if he decides to, until the summer, but we could end up with another Redknapp situation and nosedive after Christmas!!

Funny, 2 legends. 1 came through their academy the other brought as a youngster and nurtured

Who is the last young player they’ve bought that has become a great player in the last 10 years?

I’ll wait...

It’s not 2005 anymore they aren’t the same club they use to be

I hate to break it to you, but there is no honour in football, only money and egos!

Quotes!!!?

Paraphrased

"I've been saying the same for 5 years what's left to say?"

Oh you mean quotes that he wants to be considered? They don't exist because it never happened.

Nice to see the media prove his point though. Been speculated on since he joined, essentially says he doesn't comment on it because no one in the media listens to him anyway...and then The Times do a story...where ....they haven't listened...to him....again

And a shitload of people click the link, mission accomplished. There really ought to be a law against outright lying to make money.

Fuck, that would mean no politicians.

United will definitely want him. Make no mistake, making a Manchester United a force again would be a massively tempting project for Pochettino and his staff. We just need to hope the new stadium, hopefully money to spend and potential Champions league football again will keep him at Tottenham Hotspur. This was the one position i feared becoming available. Man United will give him everything he could possibly ask for to get them to where they want to be, i've no reason to doubt Pochs loyalty or commitment to Spurs but thats one hell of a potential offer set to land on his table. Fingers crossed.
