I just had one of those too and I have been a season ticket holder for 20+ years. Doesn’t someone cross reference mailing lists before sending these out!.
Muppets clearly in the ascendancy at the club right now!
Same here - just so symptomatic of how the club is run at present

Not renewed my membership. It’s a 15hour day coming to see spurs. We’ve just had our second child no chance I’m getting to any games this season.

I got one of these even though I renewed my season ticket!

Ditto, same email.

Only guessing but would have thought the renewal rate for ST's and membership will probably be the lowest for years due to covid.

Wonder when they will release the renewal figures.

I've not renewed. My reasons are:
- It's too expensive now to take a family
- You can only really get tickets in the north stand
- Playing shit, dull football

..and what difference has that made? The club are still fleecing fans, you still can't get tickets and there's been no up turn in performances. Not sure what your point is?

not sure about the tickets that's up to you you either go or don't always had the choice - I would have thought you could get tickets if you wanted to though - fleecing who knows if people are willing to pay it then they are going to charge it to be honest after a season without it I am looking forward to the new season especially with no Portugese Joe

Fair enough. I suppose it does come down what each individual class as value for money. I've always gone to at least a dozen games a season since being member. But I found myself (the two seasons prior to lockdown) trying to justify the cost of taking a family against the lack of entertainment that was served up. I do miss it though. I went ten years previously as a ST, never missing a home match and going to most away, but a large part of the entertainment was going with mates etc. If we played crap such as in the 90's I was pissed off after the match but went for a few beers after with mates and had a laugh and therefore the enjoyment was different. Nowadays, I go straight home and think 'why did I bother'!

sorry my apologies no need to explain yourself -- if you have to take a family it becomes a different ball game and that i have a lot of sympathy for people who have a family of football crazy kids - I do think all clubs should do more for kids in getting them to games at affordable prices and in that situation the prices for football in general are crazy - where do the next generation of supporters come from?

i have a season ticket and have had one for years I am old enough to remember queing up for the boys entrances and having your laces taken out of your monkey boots so I just turn up and don't give it much thought. For me and I don't have kids its entertainment and some of my favourite football memories have been in adverse shittyness. We used to have a bunch of us go - down to a handful now and a beer afterwards was almost as important as the result, those days have ended . But for me I don't do much else so as you say its all relative and though I whinge more than most I am actually looking forward to going back but as you if you have kids it does become kin expensive

Big thanks to those who posted before to help me with getting the deposit back from my season ticket. Shame I can’t renew but glad I got all my money back as some had said it was no a refundable deposit.

Thanks SC’ers ??????

I have never had a season ticket and moved away from London in 2011 but I've held a bronze/OH membership since I turned 18 in 2007 and I've just let it lapse. Officially my account is "on hold" and not deregistered but I'm not paying for renewal.

Like many others I've never felt more disconnected with the club.

I don't understand what are you disconnected about ? You have a right not to go to games you can be upset about performances but that happens - the board well that has never been supporters have any involvement with or say in you can feel that they are not making the right decisions - but disconnected I have heard it a lot but I don't get it - you support em you support em that's it - for me its unconditional

What is the disconnection whats it all about ?

I have never had and I will never have a disconnect to the club. I always root for Spurs, whoever runs or plays for the club. To each their own.

Just has my ST offer on email.........I'm number 1158 on the waiting list. Won't be accepting, unsurprisingly. To be honest I'm only on it due to being bronze member, and I work loads of weekends so not viable for me.

.....although the sad thing is, for the first time in 55 years of supporting Spurs, I actually get the chance to have an ST, and could also afford it, but now don't want one :banghead:

I feel a disconnection in that I can't morally justify spending £45-£50 on something that only serves to help line pockets of millionaire players and billionaire owners, especially when we are treated with little but contempt by those who make the decisions at the club.

I love the game of football but the business around it is a massive problem for me.

Just been offered a season ticket as well and seems I've been pushed right up about to 27000 from 60000 in the queue. Club must be desperate! I think I'll just go with my membership as I won't be able to go to all the games anyway

Plus it seems like Levy, Patricia and mendes are doing their best to stitch us right up too.
