Met Ossie, Ricky and Les Ferdinand yesterday

I was a volunteer at a charity golf day yesterday, and Ossie, Ricky and Les were there. I just managed to get autographs from them before they disappeared. Les liked it when I told him he looked fit.

Also there were Martin Chivers, and Pat Jennings, plus lots of other 'celebs'. Had Dave Bassett at out table for dinner. He didn't really talk to us volunteers, but he was saying that Harry will never get Tottenham into the top four as he wasn't good enough. He made the point that no top four clubs or top foreign clubs go after him. I hope we prove him wrong next season!

sounds like basset is a bit bitter over something from the past! no top 4 club has gone after him because apart from chelski their jobs dont become available and when they do the fans usually demand a big foriegn name. and in relation to teams from abroad going for him, he only speaks english and is a big family man so would be hard to even see him contemplate moving abroad.
