Wasn't sure where to put this, but seeing as it is being linked to two football teams in Mexico and took place during a match it seems semi logical to put it in this forum.

But holy shit, this is brutal. Some of the videos being shared on social media are sickening and the violence is off the scale. Unofficial death toll had 17 deaths, but officials are now saying there were none

The Liga MX match was suspended and not resumed after pausing in the 60th minute.

It's not good. And that's before you dig into the alleged cover ups of deaths and the total lack of security. It appears the home fans were allowed to bring weapons into the stadium.

Between the "chant" problems Mexico has and now this it's not a great look for the soon to be next world cup hosts.

Mexican FA is under a lot of pressure to change the football culture ahead of the World Cup in four years.
