As Mike Ashley, the chairman of an equally small club as King's Lynn, with an equally unimpressive trophy cabinet, has said it, I'll pay as much attention as Ken Bobbins had said it.

But, to my knowledge Levy hasn't been accused of being a Newcastle fan, so he wouldn't need to say it. People have assumed Ashley is a Spurs fan due to his associateions with Paul Kemsley. Therein lies the difference.

That said, he didn't need to use such vitriol to put the matter to bed.
