With the loss of Renato Sanches to Paris Saint-Germain, Milan are forced to look elsewhere for reinforcements. Their hunt has taken them back to familiar transfer market allies Tottenham Hotspur, where youngster Pape Matar Sarr awaits.

Loan possibly but would be a huge mistake to sell him imo. Would rather keep him til January in any case and see how he beds in.

He was bought for his potential, seems odd that we would sell him now.

He was bought pre Conte. I'm not sure Conte is very interested in potential and seems happy to cash in if he can get what he really wants right now. That's my only concern.

Maybe Conte doesn’t rate him, we’ll find out soon enough.

“Given the recent developments, Sarr has become of the main candidates to shore up the Milan midfield. The other ones are Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi, Lens’ Seko Fofana and Spurs’ Tanguy Ndombélé

Yes please.

I wonder whether the Skipp injury will alter our thinking. Even if the fracture isn't serious, he'll need to recover then build up fitness and he was already behind following last season's injury problems.

Also depends on what Conte has seen in pre-season. He may feel he's not quite ready for our level just yet and another season loan makes sense but if he's impressed, Sarr could be the 4th CM option.

I've got a feeling we might go back in for McKennie if the price gets low enough. Conte loves him and he does get into dangerous area and offer another goal threat.

Just remember who the coach was, when a young Paul Pogba rocked up at Juventus

I'd be surprised if Juve let him go with Pogba out for so long.
