He’s played really well since the penalty. You’re the joke, pal.

He has no composure and reacts rashly under pressure. After the red card its easy to look a world beater but before that he was missing clearances all over the place and not making that challenge for the penalty is basic you have to back Hugo from that angle. Skriniar would be a huge upgrade on Sanchez. Sanchez has all the potential to be great but he needs to bring composure to his game. I said before we had dropped too many points to catch Liverpool but we are getting stronger and stronger every game Sanchez was the only weak link today so upgrade on him and who knows.

This kind of performance can probably convince Levy either way. We’re already good enough, or we can really go on and challenge for the title with one or two signings. Hopefully it’s the latter.

hoping that Levy realised his mistake last time he didn’t take advantage of when we were on the verge of greatness. Last time he thought we were good enough and it went stale.

Lets hope this time he’s learnt his lesson

Wouldn’t be surprised if Utd put in a bid for him tonight. Certainly have the money

Wouldn't blame Inter Milan for adding another 10-20 milion to Skriniar's value if Manu come knocking tomorrow. Woodward will pay it :ROFLMAO:

Yeah but it's not so necessary with Ndombele performing well. Midfield of Hojbjerg, Ndombele, and Lo Celso is top quality I think

Plus skriniar can also play DM. This is a missing piece type move. C’mon Daniel and Joe. Get it done.

Over the weekend (before this match), it was claimed United could not win with Pogba and Fernandez in the team together. GLC and NDombele may well have a little bit about them too if they’re played together. I hope not, but....

*And especially with attacking full backs

sounds like he wants a defender still

He is right though. Never thought I’d say this, but we are actually overloaded when it comes to attacking areas. Not complaining mind.

We do look vulnerable at the back still though and I think still light in midfield in terms of real quality depth.

Suppose in an emergency Bale and Vinicius could revert to their original positions and cover LB and CB respectively, we’d still be able to choose from Lamela, Moura, Kane, Alli, Son & Bergwijn in attackig positions ?

FWIW, I still think they’ll be another addition tomorrow, or at least an attempt, whether that’s Skriniar, or a late opportunist option.
Feels odd, but good, that it’d be a ‘nice to have’ type extra, rather than feeling shortchanged again.

Sorry, but I just don’t agree that he was a weak link. His long passes was the catalyst to a few of our attacks as well. He gave away the pen, sure, but that was after Martial skinned a few of our other players uncontested. Somebody had to make a tackle. After the penalty he was good. I’d love Skriniar too, and atm I’d see him as an upgrade for sure, but I’m not willing to write off Sanchez like some others have done.

Unlikely at this late stage but I think we really need to bite the bullet with this one, based on today we’re a top centre half away from really challenging on all fronts this season

Please Levy! Bite the bullet. What a team you're helping Mourinho build. Skriniar would top off an incredible window, buying in every position we were short in (no. 10 creativity, I think Ndombele can help Lo celso create), and really helping us push on for a potential successful season. Please.

If Levy forks it up for Skriniar, we will have a real chance at the big one this season. It’s wide open. This is a massive opportunity. Come on, Levy!
